The Lorraine Rosenberg Reference Collection of Ceramics
and library of related texts.

Welcome to our exciting project, a reference collection & library dedicated to ceramics.
The idea of the Library was an inspiration of Lorraine Rosenberg, who spent many years writing and lecturing on her love for ceramics. She freely shared her knowledge with any interested audience, and it is this same spirit of enthusiasm we hope to instil on visitors today, both here on the website, and in reality at the Library.
The Library is situated in a long gallery in our Geelong premises, which recently underwent major renovations.
The opening was on July 5th, 2008.
Have a look at the event here, and a glance though the project here.
A big thanks to Margaret Robinson, who is using her professional skills to order & catalogue our books.
Also to Bob Metslaar, ceramics enthusiast and professional builder, for his help in getting the large display cabinet up - and last but not least, to Mr Pett for his restoration of the bookcases. I can honestly say that if it was not for these helpfull hands, we would not have had an opening on July 5th.
